MID DISTANCE COURSE (10-12 years old)

-SWIM-

The swim will be held in Santa Rosa Sound along the beach that is part of Shoreline Park. The swim will be 200 yards. The swim consists of a swim out, then parallel to the beach, and back in. The swim course layout may be modified to accommodate changing conditions on the beach. ​ ​The mid distance swim course is denoted by BLUE line.

-RUN-

The run portion of the event will leave the transition area head north on the access road, opposing traffic and coned off. Athletes will enter the nature trail for an out-and-back course.  The total distance will be 1.3 mile.
