DOLPHIN DIP 'N DASH
The inaugural Dolphin Dip ‘N Dash will be held on May 12th, 2019. This race will have youth athletes from ages 6-15 years old. This event is a swim and run (aquathlon) experience for children from ages 6 to 15 years old and will consist of 3 distances based on age. The swim portion will take place in the calm and shallow waters of Santa Rosa Sound, while the run portion is an out and back course that takes athletes on a shady path within Shoreline Park.
With a fully supported event on a closed course, safety and encouragement from volunteers complement the excitement of children becoming multisport athletes. This authentic race experience is a fully timed event and each athlete receives a custom bib and finisher t-shirt for completing the race. Custom age group awards are given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each age group.
